The New Scheme of Education and Training comprises three levels: Foundation, Intermediate, and Final, including Self-Paced Online Modules.

To register for the Foundation, Intermediate, or Final level under the New Scheme of Education and Training, students can use the Self Service Portal (SSP) accessible here.

CA FOUNDATION

Candidates can register for the Foundation Course after successfully passing the Class 10th Examination conducted by a legally constituted examining body in India or an examination acknowledged by the Central Government or the State Government as equivalent.

To qualify for the Foundation Examination, register with the Board of Studies for at least four months by or before the 1st day of the exam month (e.g., by February 1, 2024, for June 2024 or August 1, 2024, for December 2024). Additionally, you must have appeared/completed the Class 12th Examination recognized by the Indian government or an equivalent examination before taking the Foundation Examination. Please note that once the student clears the Class 12th exams, his provisional admission to the Foundation course will be regularized on uploading the XII Marksheet.

The fee for the Foundation Course is Rs. 9,000, payable at the time of registration. This fee covers the Prospectus for the CA Course and the Study Material for the Foundation Course.

CA INTERMEDIATE

A candidate can register for an Intermediate Course through either of the following two routes:
i. Foundation Route
ii. Direct Entry Route

The candidates who have qualified for the Class XII Examination and Foundation Examination are eligible to register for the Intermediate Course through the Foundation Route.

Candidates who have completed their Graduation/Post-Graduation in Commerce with a minimum of 55% marks or Graduation/Post-Graduation in fields other than Commerce with a minimum of 60% marks, as well as those who have passed the Intermediate level of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India or the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, are eligible to register for the Intermediate Course through the Direct Entry Route.

You become eligible for the Intermediate Examination upon satisfying two conditions: after completing the Graduation Course with the required marks and fulfilling an eight-months study period in the Intermediate Course starting from the date of provisional registration.

If you registered in the last year of Graduation/Post-Graduation, your Intermediate Course provisional registration will be confirmed upon submitting the Graduation/Post-Graduation exam mark sheet with the necessary marks within six months of the result declaration.

CA FINAL

Registration for the Final Course is open anytime after successfully passing both groups of the Intermediate Examination. During the registration for the Final Course, students will also be enrolling for Self-Paced Online Modules.

The fee for registration in both the groups of the Final Course is Rs. 22,000/-.

In the Final Course, there are six papers categorized into two groups:
Group I:
• Paper 1: Financial Reporting (100 marks)
• Paper 2: Advanced Financial Management (100 marks)
• Paper 3: Advanced Auditing, Assurance, and Professional Ethics (100 marks)
Group II:
• Paper 4: Direct Tax Laws & International Taxation (100 marks)
• Paper 5: Indirect Tax Laws (100 marks)
• Paper 6: Integrated Business Solutions (100 marks)
o (Multidisciplinary Case Study with Strategic Management)

You are eligible to appear for the Final Examination if you meet the following criteria:
• You have registered for the Final Course.
• You have completed Practical Training six months before the first day of the month in which the examination is scheduled.
• You have completed the Advanced Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (Advanced ICITSS).
• You have qualified for all four Self-paced Online Modules.
